Ranbir Kapoor and Deepika Padukone's new arrival Tamasha rocks on the box office on the opening day. Tamasha justs hits the screen today.

Yeh Jawani Hai Deewani just missed the 200 crore mark by a whisker. But this is seeming much more than that. Overseas opening of Tamasha was phenomenal.

In the Gulf the opening Day collection is estimated at US $ 2.35 Million (Around 15 crore)

In North America the opening Day collection is estimated at US $ 3.85 Million (Around 25 Crore)

With this achievement Tamasha becomes the highest overseas opening of Ranbir Kapoor.

In India the collection is estimated around 11 crore not fixed.

The movie is a love story as you all already seen in the trailer. These are not seen first time on the big screen, the couple was seen before in the Yeh Jawani Hai Deewani, which was a superhit movie.

Tamasha is romantic Drama film written and directed by Imtiaz Ali. In the movie Ranbir Kapoor plays the role of Ved who loses his self by the society pressure.

Deepika Padukone plays casts as Tara Maheshwari in a lead role. She reminds Ved who he is. He was a small town boy who has grown up in the world of stories.
Exotic island, youthful abandon, far...far away, Ved and Tara - a story begins.

Ved wants his story with Tara to be different. So, they decide not to tell each other who they are and to only lie about themselves. And, after returning from the island, never to meet each other again.
But they do meet again.

The story is very nice. My advice to you must watch movie soon. The movie will payback you your every penny spend.
